Published November 29th, 2006 in GeneralSo I hear that preposterous, prancing little pants-goblin, Sir Elton John, has been abusing our glorious Prime Minister for his stance on gay marriage! To say “up yours” to John Howard is to say “up yours” to me. I am not happy.
I was speaking to that yodelling twerp Shannon Noll at a Young Liberals function the other night. I used to like his music, especially that song “What About Me”, because I could identify so strongly with being ignored by so many people. However this has all changed now. Between cucumber sandwiches, he suggested to me that the rockstar was the most democratic figure in our society. Apparently, as the utterly odious and insolent Noll suggested, it is the public alone who decides whether the rockstar is successful.
I was abominated by this disgracefully seditious remark. Everybody knows that Phillip Ruddock is the most democratic figure in our society. He was elected fair and square and is a Palpatine pillar of grace. By the time my column hits the streets, Shannon Noll should be joining his mates Schapelle Corby and Van Nguyen to rot in Guantanamo Bay! Hah!
But back to this Elton John fellow. This is the second time some overpaid, zealously do-gooding noisemaker has put down that newfangled instrument that they call the “electric guitar” and started sticking their prissy nose into the glorious Australian institution we refer to as the Government. What gives these raving ‘artistes’ the right? That hideous “Boner” chap from that postmodern leprechaun noisebox, U2, only just had a go recently too.
There’s only one way to stop these ignoramuses from disrupting the calm of the glorious silent majority: BAN ALL MUSIC. We don’t need that postmodern tripe anyway. It breeds leftist scum.
And ban Kylie Minogue, too. She encourages the fags to start dancing.
