The vegan cyclist ramblings of Al Gore have long been tempting me into unleasing some of my patented fire and brimstone in a blaze of glory upon him. His appearance alongside some of the world’s most jejune celebrities at the tree-hugging decable that was the 79th Annual Academy awards was one of the most disgusting, self-promoting sights to grace my television since Mercedes Corby appeared on A Current Affair.

Decent hardworking cuscusses and leprechauns themselves would be reeling in horror at the news that the green left’s pin-up boy, environmental scaremonger and international naysayer is in fact a two-faced, gas-guzzling, shit-spinning joke of a man, who uses more electricity per week than the entire of Luxembourg does in a year.

I, of course, was not a bit surprised.

While Al Gore was engaged with an on-stage fellatio competition with Hollywood nobody Leonardo DiCaprio, his mansion was producing enough Greenhouse gas to make Mars hospitable. Gore’s spokesperson claims this is okay because Gore pays to have trees planted to ‘offset’ his excesses.

Looks like Gore, like so many of his champagne socialist ilk, is green on the outside and tar black on the inside. The US$42 million he made preaching mass destruction to a captive audience contributed enough gases and hot air in jet-setting alone to power the NSW Labor Party’s entire election campaign.

Of course, climate change is big business. The greenies are cashing in on doe-eyed Middle Australians who have been brainwashed by their massive marketing ploys. The people behind the push (Gore included), don’t give a shit about the environment, because they know that the whole greenhouse scare is simply a product of their own imaginations. You want more evidence?

Richard S. Lindzen, Professor of Atmospheric Science at MIT, has the following to say:

A general characteristic of Mr. Gore’s approach is to assiduously ignore the fact that the earth and its climate are dynamic; they are always changing even without any external forcing. To treat all change as something to fear is bad enough; to do so in order to exploit that fear is much worse.

So who is Middle Australia going to believe - Al Gore, with his army of tofu-eating train-riding guitar-playing hippie vegans? Bono, Schapelle Corby, Maxine McKew, and a boatload of Sri Lankan immigrants claiming that they had to get out of their country before it sank?

It’s time to lift the wool from the eyes of our glorious nation. Middle Australia, listen to science. Listen to reason. Most of all, listen to me. Global warming is a load of Kylie Minogue’s old underpants. Kyoto is a leftist scheme to bring down our glorious economy. Bob Brown is a poo-puncher.

Until these mega-rich faux-environmentalists start turning off their lights, you’ll excuse me for continuing to drive my Toyota Monstrosity every other day.
