Four more years? Abandon ship!
Published March 27th, 2007 in GeneralOh me, oh my!
I stepped out of the rehab clinic on Sunday afternoon, only to find that, without my glorious guidance, Middle Australia had re-elected that swinish rejectamenta of politics, Morris Iemma.
It was enough to drive me to drink. On the one hand, we won’t have to listen to any more of Debnam’s poo-drinking rhetoric. On the other hand, we have to suffer through four more years of working-class-sympathising, union-loving incompetence in our government.
I’m off to bathe in Pimm’s №1. I’ll see you all in 2011!
xx Miranda

But Miranda, with Morris Iemma back in power you’ll have so much to write about! You won’t have to fill your column with stories about old trees falling down in Mosman, bitching about Mem Fox and praising the almighty phonics. Think of the possibilities!
Labor again?
When I heard this news I had to sit in front of my reverse-cycle air conditioner for TWO HOURS because I thought I would faint!
Labor? That’s a little too close to ‘LABOUR’, and that smacks of, you know, struggle and hard work. And that’s for my husband to do while i take the kids to school and play tennis on Tuesdays
Vale Peter Debnam, the last great hope for Middle NSW!!!!!
