Welcome back Ms Devine! I truly hope you “rattle the sabre” as prolific as you have in past times against our very own “Chairman Rudd”
Admittedly, i was a little dissapointed in your desire to see poor people “work longer hours” and for the life of me cannot understand the rationality behind this statement. Understand that i am no “red” but know that alot of working class people work many more hours than usual to pursue a status and lifestyle that is half-way decent. To force the poor people to work longer hours surely equates to the breadwinner(s) spending less time with family and love ones and could present a whole swag of social ills due to this, i know that an intelligent woman like yourself does not need to be lectured on this subject so i will refrain in writing more about this.

As much as i admired and agree with what you have written in the past i do believe you should be more compassionate towards the poor people. Most of them can see the problems of this country exactly as you do and the only difference between them and people of your class is that they were not born with a silver spoon…To alienate them from conservative circles etc surely will curb their desire to climb the “class ladder” in this country, and after observing the dissension of the conservative factions i would think that more recruits are definitely needed to ensure the coalition to be once again a force in Australian politics.

I for one, would hate to think that the already long hours i spend working at 15 lousy dollars per hour will help fund your tax payer trips to check out “defence force spunks” at the cost of losing valuable time spent with my family and especially my infant daughter….but alas i have a sense of humour like everyone else and trust or at least hope your statement was said in jest….
